Training Dogs

Could it be?  I'm actually going to blog something about training dogs?  Holy cow!

Well, I'm tired of NOT training my dogs.  I miss working them like I used to.  Money always restricts me, especially now because of all of the furlough days at work, but I really need to get back to what I love doing.

Dianne's going to be offering lessons again at Janie's on Wednesday nights, so I'd be a fool not to go considering it's right down the street from my house. 

There's a Jack Knox clinic a week from Saturday sponsored by the Eastern Idaho Stock Dog Association.  I have an email in to one of the organizers to find out if there's still room, and I'm busy trying to talk other people into going with me.  I'd love to get down there and work with Jack, if even only for a day. 

I also need to get Echo working in large, wide open spaces.  Her come bye outrun is as tight as it always has been and I need to work on fixing that. 

Yeah yeah ... she's laughing. 

So is her daughter.

Speaking of her daughter ... Reese is doing really well and learning the routine around my house.  So is Jill.  They get along great ... two peas in a pod.

The pig is still at my house, and that will take a bit of fanageling to get him to convince himself that he actually wants to get in the trailer.  I'll work on that tonight.

It's a gorgeous day out and looking forward to getting some more mowing and stuff done.  Maybe I'll even take pictures of the house with green grass (well ... weeds) around it.
