Of all of the parts of the house, I spend the most time on my deck. Recently, there has been something running across my deck in the middle of the night that is too big to be a mouse, too fast to be a skunk, might be a fox, and it might be living under my deck. I haven't figured it out yet, but I'm getting closer. I put flour down on the deck to see if I could see the pattern it's running. But ... I got nothing.
The dogs loved running through it, investigating it, and licking it. Yuck!
The flour has been down for a couple of days, and I got sick of looking at it. And I also got really sick of looking at this, too.
I've been talking about getting a new deck set for a long time now. I waited patiently. And waited. And waited. Finally, the price came down to within striking distance! So I rinsed off the deck, and voila!
Now I just need an umbrella for it.
Well, and it wasn't quite "voila" either! LOL! There were a few things to put together.
All in all, it was worth it. It took me a while, but I got it done. I only broke one of the plastic clips in the whole thing. I was pretty proud of myself.
And I love the way it looks! Woo hoo! My brother is coming out at the end of September, and just like when my sister came to visit, I am sure we will be spending lots of time right here.

Wonderful outdoor furniture!!! Always fun to be on the deck. Hope you catch the critter soon! Any leads on a name for the new pup - nothing has come to me, but I'll keep thinking!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend.
Thanks Doniene. We're going to try "Sage" out for a bit and see if that sticks.
ReplyDeleteThe new furniture looks like it needs a couple of bottles of beer and a plate of Nachos on it!
ReplyDeleteGood looking furniture, best time of year to buy outdoor stuff...
