Shades of Green

It's been a while since I posted.  I have lots to post, including the bazillion photos of my trip to Denver with Mark, but for some reason, the photos landed in several different Picasa photos instead of just one, so now I have to shift things around.  And considering there's about 150 photos I'll be posting, this will take a while.

In the meantime, I went to check out that spotted horse again, this time dragging Don with me so he could evaluate him for me.  I'm glad I did.  It only took a few seconds of Don working with him for me to see that he was way too green for what I'd like to do.  I was kinda bummed because I love his little personality.  Oh well.

Got myself some leather cleaner and cleaned the saddle I bought a few weeks ago.  

Three Bar Saddlery seems to be a very small place ... haven't found much information about them other than that website.  Still have work to do ... need to put some more holes in the leather so I can shorten up the stirrups and trim the extra leather.  Need to get a cinch, a pad and a blanket, but then I should be good to go.

Oh ... and a horse.  Need one of those.
