Another Day ... Another Buck

Well, it was a little bit frosty this morning?  See?

(Reese)

(Cruz)

Echo, the princess.  No frost.  Doesn't hang out outside long enough to grow any.  And Zip was inside.  The other spoiled dog.  (Ignore Princess' toenails.  The battery in my dremel ran out half way thru.)

Oh don't look now, but Jodi made ANOTHER "Questionable Decision!"  Introducing Buck.

Buck (I can see myself typo'ing that already) is a 17-year old registered Missouri Foxtrotter.  I bought him from a wonderful family up in Eagle.  His former owner passed away at the end of last year, but he was the former president and member of one of the branches of the Utah Backcountry Horsemen, as well as a beloved father, grandfather, etc.  I am honored they trusted me to buy Buck from them and can't thank them enough.  Brought him home this morning, and Kahlua couldn't get enough of him!

Karen and I then headed out to Celebration Park.  What an awesome ride!  Great horse!  Beautiful day!  Loved every minute of it!  Buck was a pleasure to ride.  I cannot believe how lucky I am to now own not one, but two, awesome horses that take great care of their riders.

Karen and Bebe.

Look!  Different ears for new ear shots!

Two minutes into the ride, I was comfortable enough to wrap the reins around the horn while I opened my bag and took in some more wonderful Liquid Courage!

I look like I have buck teeth.

What's he lookin' at?

Aha!

Ok, here's another one.  I still look like a moose, but whatever.

I can't tell you how excited I am for spring to spring!!!!  Woo hoo!
